Information such as your name, email address, institution/company name, country etc. and Google Drive credentials gathered at the time of registration will be used for identification and authorization of users, and to contact you. We will use this information to respond to your request or questions and to show that you or institution/company you represent is/are user/customer of our service.
The information we collect is not shared with any third party organisations except mentioned in 'tracking' section below. This data will never be sold to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
Document Data Protection
When users upload files to be converted Docx2Latex.com stores those files on its servers. The files remain in place on the servers for users to download. All the files will be deleted after some time once they are downloaded. There is no backup made of user files.
All the documents will remain confidential and will never be sold to any third party for commercial or non-commercial purposes. They may be used to improve quality of our service. You will retain all the rights to data you upload to Docx2Latex.
We will take all the possible server-side measures to keep your data safe and incase if you find any vulnerabilities in our system you can report them at email@example.com. You are also adviced to take client-side security measures and do not disclose your account information to anyone.
Docx2Latex uses third party services like Google analytics, One-Signal web push notifications and others to track user's interactions with Docx2Latex. This information will be used for analysis and improvement of our service.
Certain Exceptional Disclosures
We may disclose your information if necessary to protect our legal rights or if the information relates to actual or threatened harmful conduct or potential threats to the physical safety of any person. Disclosure may be required by law or if we receive legal process.
